Most people involved in the development of medical publications – and particularly those from industry – are familiar with the Good Publication Practice (GPP)-2 guidelines<\/a>, which were published in 2009.<\/p>\n

An update to these guidelines (GPP-3) has been developed and submitted to a peer reviewed journal. It is hoped that these guidelines will be published in the coming months.<\/p>\n

At the recent annual meeting of the International Society for Publication Professionals<\/a>, several of the stakeholders involved in the development of these new GPP-3 guidelines – from a variety of backgrounds (industry\/publishing\/agency) – were videoed to provide their thoughts on these new guidelines and how they will impact on the development of publications moving forward.
