The Publication Plan are proud to be the official Media Partner of the 54th European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) Conference mini-symposium on plain language summaries<\/a>, entitled \u201cPlain language summaries (PLS) for scientific publications: exploring multistakeholder perspectives\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 54th EMWA Conference will take place in Riga from 3\u20135 November, with attendance possible in person or online. The Conference will cover a range of topics from epidemiology and statistical analysis, publication planning, sustainability in medical communications, safety reporting, and development of graphical abstracts. The half-day mini-symposium on PLS<\/a> will take place on 4 November, and will share insights on the development of PLS from medical writer, industry, publisher, and patient perspectives. The mini-symposium will comprise both presentations and panel discussions, with opportunities for attendees to ask questions.<\/p>\n

Registration for the Conference is now open. Please note the Conference, including the mini-symposium, is open to EMWA members only. Non-members can join EMWA when registering for the conference. The Publication Plan will also be developing a report that summarises the mini-symposium.<\/p>\n
