The 2022 European Meeting<\/a> of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP<\/a>) was held virtually on 25\u201326 January. This year, nearly 350 delegates attended the virtual meeting, which was themed \u2018Advancing Our Profession: Driving Leadership and Best Practices in Medical Communications\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, two keynote addresses and several thought-provoking presentations and engaging panel discussions were streamed live to attendees, who were given the opportunity to actively participate by asking questions and sharing their views. A summary of the first day of the meeting is provided below to benefit those who were unable to attend the meeting, and as a timely reminder of the key topics covered for those who did.<\/p>\n
